Imperial Press (FOR SALE)

A rare mid 1800’s imperial hot foil blocking press has been fully restored and modernised, so that it now operates using electronics (originally heated by gas). The refurbished press is the same as the one recently sold and pictured below. The press has a very large blocking/ printing area of 450mm by 450mm and a lightweight precision ground chase for mounting dies. These fine presses can produce massive pressure with little effort, which is required for blind embossing, foil blocking and for producing fine quality letterpress printing. Delivery and installation can be arranged at extra cost.
