Beowulf: The Morris Edition
Books Illustrated's Beowulf: The Morris Edition was named overall Book of the Year and won Excellence in Print Production at the 2026 British Book Design & Production Awards. Letterpress printed with 18 new illustrations by Alice Cao, it pays homage to William Morris's 1895 Kelmscott edition, and it is limited to 308 copies to match the original print run. Quarter-bound in gold-embossed teal goatskin, with boards covered in William Morris's Peacock & Dragon cloth and edges gilded on three sides - we're proud to have hand-bound it here in Ludlow.
