E-Type Jaguar
When Philip and Julie Porter, from Porter Press International, came to see us and said that their client wanted a bonnet strap of an E type Jaguar securing the slipcase, even we thought we couldn’t do it.
However, after consultations with Pip and Phil, we came up with the solution that you can see - we think it’s rather special, and so did our client! The bonnet strap is riveted on, with a cut-away area in the Solander box designed to hug the strap so that the buckle doesn't damage anything.
A fantastic piece of packaging for a book about the very first lightweight, E type Jaguar!
